Miss Sixties accepts money orders and paypal. No personal checks! Items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.  The cost of shipping is $8.95. Insurance included at no extra cost. Orders are generally shipped out within (3) business days. When you are ready to place an order and are paying with a money order, please let us know in advance of purchase by emailing at gcaldwell1@optimum.net. Please include item name, item number and the "Ship To" address. Someone will get back to you with the item availability and mailing address where to send payment. All payments MUST be received within 7 days of placing an order or the item will go back up for sale.

PLEASE EMAIL FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES. DO NOT PAY FOR THE ITEM(S) UNTIL WE INVOICE YOU. We use USPS Priority International Mail and usually take 7 to 10 business days.  Orders are payable in U.S. funds through PayPal only. All orders are marked as ’merchandise’ on the custom forms. Your country may impose a custom’s tax/duties/etc. that will be your responsibility.

 

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

 

In order to receive approval for a return/exchange, you must notify Miss Sixties Vintage Fashion by email or phone within 48 hours of your confirmed delivery date.

If the return is approved, when we receive the returned item a refund for the purchased price will be issued.

Full returns for total purchase price are accepted ONLY if an item has been grossly misrepresented in its listing. We do not accept returns on clothing if an item does not fit. (Complete measurements have been provided in listing). Please be sure to check the measurements given in the listings against your own measurements.  If you feel that your purchase has been significantly misrepresented in the description, send an email or phone and any concerns you may have will be discuss.

Upon approval you can exchange your purchased item right away for another vintage piece. Just let us know which item you would like instead and it will ship out when your returned item is received. The amount of the exchange will be for the total purchase price of any items returned only, not for original shipping charges on those items.

In case of a price difference between the item purchased originally and the item or items you’re exchanging it for, we will keep a record of any credit on file and send you an invoice with your credit total as of the date the return is processed. This credit is good toward any future order.

Return items must be shipped insured and carefully packaged in the exact condition in which they were originally shipped--unworn with no stains, rips, etc. caused by trying on, or any other damage/odor from being in your possession--and be received by me within 7 days of your confirmed delivery date.

Items received after 7 days from their confirmed delivery date or without our prior approval will not be eligible for return. Damaged items will not be accepted for return--and you will be responsible for shipping charges to get the item back if your return request is denied--so be gentle and careful when trying on garments!

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs for returned items except in cases of significant misrepresentation.

ALL Sales are Final for International Customers - The return/exchange policy is ONLY good for U.S. customers.

                                                   SIZING/CONDITION

Not only is there no standard for sizing, vintage sizes runs much smaller and are nowhere near what modern sizes are today. Make sure you know your measurements and compare them to those listed in the item description.

How to Measure:

  • Sleeves: Measure from your shoulder to your wrist
  • Shoulders: Measure from shoulder to shoulder straight across just under your neck.
  • Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, from underarm to underarm.
  • Waist: Measure the thinnest part of your body leaving the tape just loose enough for you to breathe.
  • Hips: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Many of the items fall into the category of "excellent" or "very good". Any distinguishing characteristics will be mentioned in the listing. Items with major wear, flaws or stains are not sold on this site.

See the following condition ratings below, which are included in items description:

Near Mint: An item shows no noticeable flaws and appears to be unworn. 

Excellent: An item shows only the slightest signs of wear (maybe worn a few times) and no noticeable flaws.

Very good: An item have been worn, have a few minor flaws and still completely wearable.

By placing an order or making a request you are offering to purchase a product which we will sell to you on the following Terms and Conditions. We can not guarantee the delivery times & dates and are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays. If your order is accepted we will inform you by emailing you.
